Dear S3I have a friend who is a doctor and I make it a point to ask about her so I will not be embarrassed when I ask for medical advice. Similarly, I hope you are well and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to send me such a thorough answer. I especially liked the use of buzz words like “Delta metal” and “codeshares” and your sensitivity toward being “embargoed”. I would be still be interested to know if the buddy pass is valid on international codeshares, but since I am somewhat off the grid, I don’t think it would be wise to travel to Istanbul and show up at the Air France or KLM Ticket Counter looking for assistance. I have looked for European cities serviced by Delta and having flights to JFK and I think London offers the best chance with 3 daily flights. (I am not sure if it is every day, just the day I searched)I also appreciated learning that, “getting the change done would be easy; it could be processed at the ticket counter without the intervention of your friend”, but I just wanted to confirm that with you. I will be traveling in a few weeks, and if the change can be done at the London Ticket Counter I will avoid contacting Reservations or my friend. Any follow-up on my plans or inquiry would be greatly appreciated and again thank you for your time and consideration.Stay well
