You always get put in the best available seat. So, after seating all the ticketed passengers, they go down the standby list in priority order. When they get to your name, they will put you in first/business if it's open. Otherwise, you go in coach. If there are no coach seats, you don't get on the plane. The price is the same no matter where you sit.
