Looking at buddy pass cost and I was looking between MSP and CUN and it listed 2 fares, buddy and yield.The tax's were the same but the buddy pass cost more.I don't have a clue what yield fare is but the buddy pass base fare is twice as much as the yield fare.Thanks.

Isn't the yield fare the cost for a designated companion?
