Here's the dilemma: I'm hoping to non-rev on Delta using my privileges as a parent of an Alaska/Horizon employee. That pilot/employee lives about 3000 miles away, which sometimes makes things a bit impractical. When Alaska non-revs on Delta, there's no e-ticket; ID90 spits out a code which then permits you to buy a paper ticket at an Alaska counter. Unfortunately I live about 90 minutes from the airport. So here's what I'm thinking of trying:1-Get the ID90 code well before the flight2-Check loads the night before3-Head to the airport the day of the flight with some time to spare4-Go to the Alaska counter and buy my paper ticket5-Get out my laptop and quick like a bunny list for the Delta flight6-Go to a Delta kiosk and pick up my standby boarding pass7-Clear security8-Head to the gate and cross my fingers.Part of me says that this should work, but I'm also wondering if I'm getting too old for this sort of thing. Can anyone see any obvious (or not-so-obvious) flaws in my Master Plan.thanks,-lr
