      Hello, back in July I tried taking a flight from Los Angeles to Chicago but due to no available seats I was not able to board the flight I needed. What is the process of requesting a refund on a Non-Rev flight and is there any helpful info I should know. I have already tried calling directly but all I’ve been told is to go through TravelNet. But I don’t see any area on TravelNet to request a refund. Any help is greatly appreciated!

      There is a place to process the refund in TravelNet. I think it’s a link next to your reservations. If you can’t get it, you can probably just give Delta customer service a call. I’ve had good luck asking them to deal with refunds for me. If you’re not the employee then don’t tell them you are logging into TravelNet 🙂

      Thanks for the reply steve! I found the ticket refunds portion of the site but in order to process the request it asks for the “e-ticket number” that apparently begins with 006 with 10 digits that follow. But the only number I ever received was a confirmation # which consists of 6 numeric/alphabetic digits. Ex) HZ4ZDN. I have never received an e-ticket number in my past non-rev flights, always just these confirmation numbers. Any ideas?

        Thank you very much steve! I was able to resolve the issue with your help. I submitted the request and received a confirmation email today stating they have issued the refund. I really appreciate the help.
