      Husband and 3 year old daughter flew to GIG for an emergency funeral.Accepted the buddy pass under the assumption and being told it would be easy to return.

      You are dealing with a double wammy of a situation1) traveling on buddy passes2) trying to get on a PAYLOAD OPT flight.If you tried to get on the Flight departing the evening of the 16th looks like you and everyone else made the flight.If you are trying for the Flight on the 17th that at the moment looks favorable.Past date to check on the 15th or earlier.Hope you are on your way while reading this !rma
