ParticipantDoes anyone know if Delta is planning on making DLnet open to employees of more affiliate companies such as Worldspan. I am a grandfathered DL employee at worldspan. I actually have already have “retired” status with DL but I still don't qualify for vpn or intranet access because since I bridged to wspn I have a worldspan formatted PPR (starts with PM00nnn00). Since grandfathered DL employees at worldspan have all DL travel benefits and family and friends certs, it would be a much more useful to access dlnet rather than the travel line vru. If anyone has any knowledge if this has even been discussed at dt, post a note here and give us some hope!! -SKICAT (2005/03/13 19:13)

ParticipantI can't login cause I don't have a password (Delta Passport.) When I go to the registration page, the PPR is not accepted since it is alpha numeric. If I use my old delta employee number from 10 years ago in the format of of DL PPR (0xxxxxx00), I get this: Error: DLPP0203: Your employment status does not make you eligible to create or reset your Delta Passport. Please call 800-My-DELTA. The HRDMC says that its not supported for grandfathered employees or Worldspan employees. Any other word about plans to open this up? (2005/04/07 11:12)

ParticipantUPDATE: According to the HRDMC, since they have put in place the new buddy pass and yield fare ticketing on TravelNet, they will soon allow the last 2 groups of employees who have not had access to travelnet to get it. Currently employees whose PPR numbers start with PM or MN can only access the TravelLine VRU by phone. They are working to enable PM and MN ppr numbers to have access to TravelNet "in the near future". I guess we wait and see how near! I know that PM is worldspan. I am not familiar with MN ppr's. Does anyone know which subsiderary is MN?? -SKICAT (2005/06/07 09:05)

ParticipantI spoke to the pass bureau yesterday and the target date for PM and MN PPR number access to TravelNet is before end of year (2005). She said it had a “high priority” status. We see. -SKICAT (2005/06/14 12:16)

ParticipantUPDATE Earlier this month version 2.0 of DeltaNet came out, which they are calling Delta Extranet. With this update, now Worldspan and other merger employees whose PPR numbers start with MN or PM can now have access!! PIN numbers were apparently mailed out this week to the PPR pass rider's home address. You still need to pre-register to get an authorization code. Amen that this tool has been rolled out to all PPR accounts now! -SKICAT (2006/02/22 15:39)
