      If I am currently listed on standby, do I have to cancel my listing before I can purchase a ticket for the same flight?

      It would be a good idea to do that and remember the Cardinal Rule:Once you have bought a ticket and reserved space on a flight:"YOU CAN NOT GO BACK AND CANCEL YOUR TICKET TO RIDE STANDBY"!If you do this you may lose your pass privileges maybe forever.
